Policies & Procedures

Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Elite Dance Academy will be limiting the number of dancers per class, so please register early to avoid disappointment.

Payment details are as follows: Payments may be made in full upon registration OR Payments may be made in two installments: 1st half upon registration and 2nd half dated for November 1st OR Payments may be made in five installments: 1st upon registration, 2nd dated for October 1st, 3rd dated for November 1st, 4th dated for December 1st and the 5th dated for January 1st.

At time of registration, all registration forms and payments must be submitted in order to be considered fully registered in a class.

Absolutely no refunds will be issued after October 15th, 2011, except in the case of a medical emergency, in which case a medical note must be provided. After this date, if a child is unhappy in a class, every effort will be made to find a more suitable class for him or her.

Elite Dance Academy is a bilingual atmosphere. Please inform one of the Directors if your child is not able to understand their teacher due to language issues.

Uniform regulations must be respected. Having a basic dress code promotes equality amongst students, and for particular styles allows the teacher to properly evaluate body positioning. Students coming to class without the required uniform or proper footwear will not be allowed to participate in their class.

For a child to participate in the year-end recital, a performance costume must be purchased. Every effort will be made to provide quality costumes at affordable prices. Competition class and Elite class costumes may cost more than recreational costumes.

Tickets to the year-end recital must be purchased by friends and family should they wish to come watch. Tickets will be sold at a minimal cost ($15.00 or less.)

Any photo purchases, DVD sales or other extras are completely at the discretion of our clients. Please do not feel pressured to purchase any of these items.

Any issues regarding teachers should be addressed with one of the Directors immediately. We will be happy to listen to your concerns.

Due to space issues, as well as in an effort to keep studio floors sanitary, parents are not permitted to watch classes from the interior of the studio without express invitation of the teacher.

A Christmastime demonstration will be held where all parents/friends will be invited to watch your child’s class and view their progress.
